Introducing (about 6 months late)...Mr. Harrison Carter Daw!

The last time I posted on this blog, Craig and I were celebrating our one year wedding anniversary. Now, 2 and a half years later, we have an (almost) 6 month old and our life couldn't be more different!

This little guy made his appearance on June 4, 2013. I can't believe how quickly 6 months have gone by! He is the joy in our hearts and the smiles on our faces. Since I have missed the first 6 months of his life on here, I should probably do a quick recap:

The day we brought him home. I had never felt more in love in my life (except on my wedding day of course!).

His newborn session was such a treat. We decided to do it in our home, since we felt most comfortable there. After all, he was only 6 days old! I had my dear friend Kirsten take the photos for us. She is an old coworker of mine who happened to be in town for a few days when Harrison was born! It was fate! :-)

Harrison was a world-class traveler before he hit a month old. In this photo, we were visiting Roughlock Falls in Spearfish Canyon. He also frequented Mt. Rushmore, The Badlands, and Reptile Gardens!

That's right, we went all out for Harrison's first Halloween. I had his wizard robe custom made by a friend of a friend, and ordered the Hogwarts patch off of Amazon. I borrowed the cute little glasses courtesy of where I work. Here he is with Daddy at Trunk or Treat at our church.

His most recent monthly photo.

For our holiday photos, we found a local photographer to take the pictures for us. You wouldn't guess it by looking at it, but this was such a frustrating photo shoot. Harrison was crying and it was FREEZING outside. But she was able to capture some wonderful photos for us.

We have been so thankful to have Harrison and to be able to share our lives with him. Every day is a new adventure, especially living over a thousand miles away from our family back in Florida. I want you guys to hold me accountable and try to keep me current on posting new updates! Hopefully, there won't be another two year time span before I post again!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS FROM THE DAW'S!
